First Mike, or First Gentleman Mr. Mike Gregoire visited Evergreen Boy's State Wednesday morning. His wife, the Governor and his daughter being alumni of the EBS' sister program shows his strong ties to the Boy's and Girl's state programs. He charged the citizens of Evergreen to become the leaders that will ensure Washington's success as a state in the future.

"What are you doing today to help a veteran?" is the question that Mr. John Lee posed Wednesday to the delegates of Evergreen Boy's State. Mr. John Lee knows a lot about veterans being one himself along with serving as The Washington State Director of Veterans Affairs. Mr. John Lee reminded the citizens of the importance of veterans in the community.
