We were honored to have The National Commander of The American Legion, Mr. Paul A. Morin, attend The American Legion Department Of Washington Evergreen Boys State program. Commander Morin spent more than 90 minutes speaking generally on the theme of "What is a Veteran?"

Later at lunch time, the commander recieved a telephone call from President George W. Bush who offered greetings to the Boys State delegates through the commander. Three young men even were allowed to talk with President Bush on the phone.
